Background

A native of Maine, I grew up in the seaside town of Falmouth before earning a degree in architecture from the Rhode Island School of Design. Having lived and worked along the East Coast, it felt like a natural evolution to step into leadership roles as Design Director for both the New York Metro and Northeast regions.

A love for craft, simplicity in detailing, and impeccable execution has guided my career from the start. I’ve had the privilege of designing for many leading brands, including Ralph Lauren, where I served as Director of Architecture and helped shape the global identity of the Club Monaco brand. Our 5th Avenue flagship quickly became a retail icon—reimagined as a curated marketplace with The Strand Bookstore, a flower shop, and Toby’s Estate Coffee under one roof.

That collaboration with independent coffee brands sparked a deeper connection to the café world, ultimately leading to the next chapter of my design journey with Starbucks.

Today, I continue to consult on branded environments and immersive experiences, with a focus on projects that blend purpose, storytelling, and thoughtful execution.
